The backing of our mutual parent means we are customer-owned and free from short-term shareholder demands, capable of taking a longer-term perspective to generate investment returns for our clients.

As an investor entrusted with overseeing £169* billion of customers’ assets, we are committed to playing our part in helping build financial resilience and influencing real-world change that’s in the interests of our members, customers and society. We have been investing in property on behalf of Royal London for decades and are currently one of the largest UK landlords, with £8.2** billion of property assets under management.

We are committed to delivering high quality developments that attract and retain occupiers while creating positive social and environmental impacts, both within the asset itself and across the wider community. We want to create buildings that embody exceptional sustainability credentials and provide inspiring spaces for their occupants to thrive.

At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to being a responsible property investor, with a long-term approach to maximising value. This approach aligns us perfectly with the priorities of current and future generations of the local community.

A forward-thinking approach to embracing the community

The former Printers Devil pub on Broad Plain is controlled by RLAMP and forms part of the Distillery masterplan. The structure and fabric of this listed building has recently been subject to a substantial programme of repair to protect and safeguard its future. It is currently an empty shell and a metaphorical ‘blank canvas’. We are starting to explore a variety of different uses for this discrete but iconic building.
